Sling TV has been making a lot of headlines lately and with that, they also have a great discount going for new customers, which could come in handy right as the new season starts for both college football and for the upcoming MLB playoffs.

Right now, new customers can make a new account with Sling TV and get the Sling Orange + Sling Blue plan for only $25 for the first month, which is 40 percent off the regular price of $45 per month.

This discount is great for sports fans that will be able to watch sports channels like ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, FS1, FS2, NBCSN and NFL Network.

It also comes at a time when the NFL season kicks off, which will allow for users to watch their local games on FOX, CBS and NBC if their stations are available on Sling TV, as well as the Monday Night Football game on ESPN and the Thursday Night Football game on NFL Network.

The MLB playoffs will be able to be viewed on FOX (again, check to see if your local FOX station is available on Sling TV), TBS and FS1.

Again, this is only for new customers of Sling TV and that the $25 price for the Sling Orange and Sling Blue plan is for one month only.

Sling TV is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
