AT&T TV NOW is a rebranded service that used to be DirecTV NOW. The service has two plans, the Plus Plan for $50 a month and the Plus Plan for $70 a month.

In my experience with using the service, I used it the most on my Apple TV HD and a little bit on my iPhone 8 Plus.

The first thing that I liked about the service is that it is easy to use and has a similar UI to DirecTV NOW, which is good for those who switched over to AT&T TV NOW. It’s the same on both the tvOS app and iPhone app.

No matter what plan you are on, the channel selection is pretty great. Even on the $50 a month plan, you still get all of the necessary sports channels, which should excited sports fans everywhere. However, the $75 Plus Plan does include even more sports channels.

Another feature that is nice with AT&T TV NOW is that it includes a great DVR. However, it is limited to only 20 hours of DVR content.

While the video quality for DVR playback is great, the only thing that I do not like is that you cannot fast forward through commercials. Although we should not be too surprised by this, it is a fault worth noting.

Additionally, when it comes to your local channels…well, good luck. Local channels will likely be available in large-populated areas such as New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.

The overall functionality of the service is pretty great, especially given the fact that technically, it is a new streaming service.

Overall, AT&T TV NOW gets 3/4 stars from me. It is a service that should be considered when deciding which streaming service you want to go with.

AT&T TV NOW is available to use on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
