According to DigiTimes, Apple plans on launching a new 13-inch MacBook with a scissor mechanism keyboard in the first half of 2020. The keyboard will be the same ‘Magic Keyboard’ that is on the new 16-inch MacBook Pro that released a few days ago.

The report also states that the display will stay 13.3-inches, unlike the 15-inch MacBook Pro that was replaced with the new, larger 16-inch MacBook.

After many problems with the previous MacBook keyboard, the Butterfly Keyboard, Apple started using a scissor mechanism once again and it is almost the same as the Magic Keyboard for the iMac. The new keyboard found in the 16-inch MacBook Pro, is also called the Magic Keyboard.

Ming-Chi Kuo also predicted that all MacBooks in 2020 will use a scissor mechanism rather than a butterfly mechanism.
