We reported that JCPenney had dropped Apple Pay support from their stores earlier this year, with them bringing it back a couple of months later.

One thing that we noted was that when JCPenney brought it back to their stores, they did not immediately put it back in their iOS app. However, the day has come where you can once again pay for your items in the JCPenney app with Apple Pay.

According to a screenshot made by me, the company has indeed brought Apple Pay back to their iOS app. IMG_5183

To make things even better for both Apple Pay users and JCPenney, their website now also supports Apple Pay as a payment method. This works on the iPhone and iPad for those who do not want to download the app to their device, as well as it works on the Mac too.

This all comes at a time when the holiday season has started, therefore, meaning that there is a lot of online shopping to be done. Apple Pay is a great payment method for not only convenience, but the security and encryption of it is truly unbeatable.

A friendly reminder to those with Apple Card that you will be able to get two percent cashback when making purchases from either JCPenney’s app or website now.

Do you plan on making purchases from either JCPenney’s app or website now that they accept Apple Pay on them again? Let us know in the comments!
