Looks like it is a great time to be both a Sling TV customer and an NBA fan. Sling TV is currently having a limited-time free preview of NBA League Pass on their live TV streaming service.

Sling TV’s preview for this started today and will have its last day on Sunday, January 26. This preview is available to those on either the Sling Orange or Sling Blue plan.

NBA League pass essentially provides a way for those who want to watch their favorite NBA team, no matter what area or TV market they are in. It means that if someone lives in Nashville, Tennessee but wants to watch the Los Angeles Lakers game live, they can do so.

The preview also enables those who are currently uncertain if they should get NBA League Pass for themselves, to see what that service adds to their NBA viewing experience and to see if they should invest the money to get it.

NBA TV is included in the free preview too. The channel is known to air live games and shows highlights from around the league as well.

Sling TV, for either the Sling Orange or Sling Blue plan, costs $30 a month. NBA League Pass on Sling TV costs an extra $28.99 per month (on top of the $30 a month for the regular plan) and costs $18 for NBA Team Pass, which is the same thing but that you will only be able to watch one team of your choice.

It is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
