It has been confirmed through Hailee Steinfeld’s Instagram account that production and filming for season two of Dickinson have been completed.
Steinfeld plays Emily Dickinson, the main character in the Dickinson Apple TV+ series. The series also features Ella Hunt, Toby Huss and Anna Baryshnikov.
While it has not spent too much time in the spotlight because of Apple TV+’s The Morning Show receiving high honors, Dickinson was nominated for the Outstanding Comedy Series award from the GLAAD Media Awards, which focuses on awarding TV shows and movies with prominent LGBT characters in them.
Apple has not said or confirmed when the second season will premiere on Apple TV+, but if it sticks with its tradition like it did last year, it will likely be released during the fall this year or November 2020.
Apple TV+ is available for $4.99 a month after a week-long free trial and is streamed in the Apple TV app. It is available for free for those who have either purchased a new iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV or Mac since last September, or for those who have the Apple Music for Students subscription.
