Some may have thought that Blockbuster was out of business for good, but believe it or not, they are still in business and are partnering with Sling TV to create a one-of-a-kind event.
Starting this Friday, January 31, 2020, each Friday, they will have select movies that are available to watch through Sling TV. The movies shown on these movie nights will be throwback movies.
The best part is that it is completely free and consumers don’t have to have a Sling TV subscription. In fact, you don’t even need to enter a credit or debit card to watch these movies on Sling TV.
Here are the following movies that will be shown throughout January-March 2020:
- January 31: The Illusionist (2006)
- February 7: The Maiden Heist (2009)
- February 14: Stuck in Love (2012): This is a film set for Valentine’s Day and is a story about old, young and new romances between a family of writers.
- February 21: The Proposition (2005)
- February 28: Bernie (2011)
Sling TV regularly costs $30 for either the Sling Orange or Sling Blue plan. It is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac via a browser such as Safari or Google Chrome.
