Not only has Dollar Tree recently added Apple Pay support, but Fleet Farms has also pulled the lever to begin accepting it too.

Fleet Farm is a midwest chain of stores that are a lot like Menards and Bomgaars. They sell. everything from guns, ammunition, food, snacks, drinks and outdoor sporting equipment as a whole.

According to Apple Maps, Fleet Farm has begun accepting Apple Pay in its stores. What makes this even more interesting than most stores is that newer Fleet Farm gas stations do have Near Field Communication (NFC) sensors on them for those that want to pay with payment methods such as Apple Pay.

However, the sensors have always been turned off. In my personal experience of using them, I have always had to not only go inside and pay, but pay by sticking my debit card inside the chip slot on the card reader.

It is still unclear if Apple Pay is officially accepted at the gas pump, but we do know that it should be accepted in the store now, which is a good sign of things to come.

We will update this article when we find out if Fleet Farm does accept Apple Pay at the pump for gas.
