Apple seeds iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 GM to beta testers

Apple has released the Gold Master version of iOS 13.4 to Developers and to Public Beta Testers. The build number for this latest update is 17E255. There is no small letters at the end of the build number, which signifies that it is a Gold Master copy. Apple had released the first beta of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 more than a month back and this update brings in a lot of features and changes which are:-

1. Trackpad: With the announcement of the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, Apple also introduced a new cursor experience with this update. The new cursor not only works with the Magic Keyboard, it will also work with the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2.

2. iCloud Folder Sharing: This feature was introduced in WWDC last year, and it allows sync of folders in iCloud between devices of all users. It took several months for Apple to implement this feature into iOS 13.

3. CarKey: iOS 13.4 brings in a feature called ‘CarKey’ which will help you in unlocking and driving the car through NFC on your iPhone or your Apple Watch. Note that this feature has not been activated yet and we will keep you updated on this feature.

4. Mail Toolbar: The delete icon in the toolbar of the Mail app has been shifted to prevent accidental deletion of mails.

5. Memoji Stickers: There are 9 new Memoji Stickers in iOS 13.4.

6. OS Recovery: iOS 13.4 have codes in it which suggests that your iPhone or iPad can be recovered without any computer through OS Recovery.

Note that this update has only been released to beta testers. iOS 13.4 will be available globally to all users who have supported devices on the 24th of March 2020.
