Right now, there is an offer going around for streamers all across the country that will enable them to get a free trial of Showtime.
For those that have not used their free trial of Showtime through Apple TV Channels will now have the opportunity to get a free month-long trial of the streaming service.
The way to do this is to go into the Apple TV app, scroll to where it says “Available Apple TV Channels in the “Watch Now” section of the app, and then scroll to the right until you find Showtime. From there, tap it and tap the button to get your free month of Showtime.
Apple or Showtime have not offered something like this in a little while and it is good that users of the app will now have another place to stream content during the coronavirus pandemic happening across the United States.
Showtime has original TV shows to watch such as “Shameless,” “Ray Donovan,” “Homeland” and plenty of others. It has a nice movie selection too with movies such as “Good Will Hunting,” “Real Steel” and “Five Feet Apart.”
Another cool feature of Showtime on the Apple TV app is that all of the content on it is downloadable, meaning that it can be watched when offline.
Showtime in Apple TV Channels regularly costs $10.99 a month. The Apple TV app is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. It can also be downloaded and used on the Amazon Fire TV, Roku devices and select Smart TVs.
