During these hard times, many tech and media companies have devoted efforts to reduce misinformation and panic amongst consumers. Of course, Apple has not been left behind, releasing an app and a website dedicated to the concerns, but their actions do not stop there.

In such an unstable time for news, Apple has created a section on the Apple Podcast app where the most relevant and informative shows, to bring information to listeners about the virus and the world status. This will bring a great deal of attention to podcast listening and a plethora of new users to the app that want an alternative news source during this global historical event.

Creating new experiences for daily actions has always been one of Apple’s trademarks, and this will usher a whole new audience for this medium that has been growing in the last few years. From news, to cooking shows, to literature and to specific tech news podcasts (If you haven’t, check Appleosophy Weekly on the Apple Podcasts App), there is a podcast for everyone and for every moment.

What is your take on this? Are you an avid podcast listener? Or maybe you write and produce your own podcasts. Tell us your opinion down below!
