After the stellar implementation of the revamped Music app on iOS, many users have become used to certain Siri voice commands. These have been huge improvement on the way people use Apple’s voice assistant, that has been slowly getting better.

But something has been missing for some time, Spotify support. Asking Siri to play your favorite playlist or your favorite album has been something not possible for Spotify users, until recently. Spotify has slowly added support for most Apple devices, such as the iPhone, iPad and AirPods, but the Apple Watch was missing from this list.

Now, with the newest version of Spotify, those users running watchOS 6 will notice that Siri support has been added to this version of the app. Using commands such as the ones used for Apple Music, users will now be able to listen directly from their Spotify library.

It now seems that Apple is playing along with more companies. Ever since they made it possible for television manufacturers to implement AirPlay 2 on their screens, things seem to be changing internally in the company’s management.

Were you waiting for this feature to enjoy your Apple Watch even more? Are you an Apple Music or a Spotify user? Tell us your opinion down below.
