Apple today has updated its COVID-19 information app with new features. The COVID-19 app has up-to-date information from trusted sources about the coronavirus disease that is impacting people across the world. It also has a screening tool so you can find out what you should do now for yourself or for a loved one. And it gives you access to resources you may need to feel supported and informed.

According to the App Store release news v2.0.0 of the app brings the ability to select state of residence to see guidance from the state’s health deportment. The app also contains tips for keeping you and others healthy.

The COVID-19 app is developed in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the White House, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

What’s New:

This update includes bug fixes and improvements, including:

• Ability to select state of residence to see guidance from that state’s health department

• Tips for keeping yourself and others physically and mentally healthy

The app is available on the App Store for anyone in the US who is 18 years or older. Users can also access Apple’s COVID-19 tool through the website.
