We all love to find hidden tricks and secret functions that not everyone is aware of. You might think that the huge popularity of the iPhone means that there is nothing new to discover on this device but that isn’t true.

By delving deep into your iPhone, you can uncover the following cool things that a lot of people don’t know about yet.

Hide Your Private Photos

You might worry about revealing your most private photos when you hand over your cellphone to a friend or family member. The good news is that there is a hide function on the iPhone that allows you to keep your chosen images out of sight.

To activate it, you need to tap on Share and then Hide. You will then see confirmation that the pictures you have chosen have been deleted from everywhere but the Hidden album on your device.

Magnify What You See

There may be times when you would like to see something closer. Wouldn’t it be great to have a magnifying glass to hand for those occasions? Well, by using your iPhone’s camera you can zoom in on whatever you want to examine.

This is doing through Settings and then Accessibility. After this, you can choose Magnifier to activate the features.  Use it by opening the camera app and tapping the side button three times. The slider at the bottom can be used to zoom in as close as you need to.

Exclude Your Location Data from Photos

You won’t always want to share the location details that are automatically stored when you take a picture. With iOS 13, it is now incredibly easy to remove this data before posting any of your images online.

To do this, you have to choose the iOS Photos app and choose Options up at the top of the screen. When this menu appears, you can choose whether you want the precise location data added or not.

Scan Documents

There are lots of different document scanning apps available for iOS devices, but you don’t need to search for one and download it. This is because there is a hidden scanner in the latest models of the iPhone that makes it very easy for you to scan anything.

You will find it in Notes if you hit the + icon. Choose Scan Document and the camera will open up. It is then a question of choosing the settings and pointing the camera at the document. It will automatically scan after a few seconds of being held steadily.

Get You a Special Bonus or Promotion

Many types of business are keen to attract mobile users, meaning that they often target iOS users with special deals and promotions. For example, hotels and restaurants may offer device-specific offers from time to time.

Another example is in the gaming industry.  We can see at the VegasSlotsOnline site that many games can be played with a big welcome bonus and free spins. For other bonuses and deals, it makes sense to look for a deal-seeker app like Dosh or KCL.

Act As a Trackpad

A lot of iPhone users get frustrated at trying to place the cursor on the right spot by tapping the screen. Thankfully, there is an easier way to do this once you discover that your device has a trackpad built into it.

You can activate this feature by either pressing and holding the keyboard, or else by tapping and holding on the space bar, depending upon the model. After this, it is just like using a mouse to get around the screen.

With the help of these useful tips, you can make your life that little bit easier from now on.
