If there has been anything good to come out of the coronavirus, it is more companies accepting Apple Pay and NFC forms of payment.

Shoe Carnival is the next company that we have seen that is accepting Apple Pay as a form of payment on its website. This works on the iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Surprisingly enough, Shoe Carnival’s iOS app and stores do not accept Apple Pay. It will be interesting to see whether or not it will eventually include Apple Pay to its app and stores

This could be another way for Shoe Carnival to compete against other shoe companies like Famous Footwear and Journey’s that both accept Apple Pay on its websites too.

Shoe Carnival’s stores are currently closed at this time during the coronavirus, but customers who are looking to purchase new shoes can do so and pay with Apple Pay (and Apple Card where they’ll get two percent back in Daily Cash) on the company’s website.
