Ashley HomeStore now has Apple Business Chat

It was previously reported by us that Barnes and Noble recently started getting itself acquainted with Apple’s iMessage Business Chat.

Now we can confirm that Ashley HomeStore, a company known for selling furniture in its stores, is now a part of said Business Chat.

This is and can be discovered when pulling up a location on Apple Maps. Once you find a store on Apple Maps, one of the options that should pop up is the Message icon, which will then able you to message someone from the company and answer questions and concerns that you and other customers have.

iMessage Business Chat is a lot like the text support that Apple does for its Apple Card service. It also makes it so customers do not have to sit on their phones and wait for someone to pick up the phone on a traditional customer service support line.

This is what it looks like when you start a conversation:

The company has also made strides by implementing AR technology to allow customers to see how a piece of furniture would look in their homes without buying.

However, Ashley Furniture stores, as well as its website and app, do not support Apple Pay at this time.

What do you think of another company getting yet another great Apple feature to its lineup? Let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
