Apple Releases watchOS 6.2.5 GM to Developers

Ahead of its public release, Apple seeded the final build of watchOS 6.2.5 to developers today. Apart from the usual miscellaneous bug fixes and performance enhancements, watchOS 6.2.5 also enables irregular heart rhythm notifications and the ECG app for Apple Watch customers in Saudi Arabia.

 

UPDATE [watchOS 6.2.5 is now available to the public and no longer exclusive to developer beta testers]

Additionally watchOS 6.2.5 contains new 2020 Pride styling options in the form of rainbow color accents for the Digital, Analog, Gradient, Numerals Mono, Numerals Duo and California watch faces.

watchOS 6.2.5 is available to developers for free via an OTA (over-the-air) software update that can be accessed via the Apple Watch iPhone app or the Settings app on Apple Watch by navigating to General > Software Update. In order to install the update, your ”Œ”Œ”ŒApple Watch”Œ”Œ”Œ must be charged to at least 50% battery, on its charger, and in range of your ”Œ”Œ”ŒiPhone”Œ”Œ”Œ.
