Apple’s Austin campus, which is currently under construction, will reportedly include a six-story hotel housing 192 rooms.

The City of Austin approved the revised site plan on the 29th of April. This is a big change for the development with the addition of a 75,500 square foot hotel.

Apple has been growing in Austin throughout the last year, with its 133 acre facility to have around 2 million square feet of office space. Apple is expanding its presence in Austin, where it currently produces the Mac Pro.

The new Apple facility will run on 100% renewable energy, from solar panels on-site as well as thousands of trees to be planted on-site to maximize green space.

The facility is expected to open in 2020.
