In March, Google Podcasts was launched for iOS alongside a major revamp for Android. The first update for Google Podcasts now adds CarPlay support, meaning you can now tune into Appleosophy Weekly from the touch of a button on your media console.

CarPlay support is the main highlight of the latest update, with the UI straightforward and simple, allowing users to tune into their favourite podcasts with a touch of a button.

The interface is quite simple with only 3 tabs. ‘Home’ has a feed of your shows at the top then below a feed of unplayed shows. ‘Explore’ lets you search for podcasts, with suggestions based on what you listen to, to help you find the best suited podcast for you. ‘Activity’ is pretty straight forward, here is home to your downloads, listen history and your subscriptions.
