Following the release of HBO Max, The HBO channel on Apple TV Channels has been removed from the channel section in the Apple TV app.

Those who subscribed to HBO through Apple TV Channels are now subscribed to HBO Max. To get access to it, users just have to download the HBO Max app and restore their purchase from iTunes.

HBO GO is still available to those who already have HBO through their TV provider. All those users have to go is download the HBO GO app on their selected device and watch content from HBO both on-demand and live.

HBO Max is set to be the replacement for HBO NOW, as it still costs the same as the older service at $14.99 a month. It is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
