Apple’s rumored Mini-LED iPad Pro had reportedly entered trial production according to a Korean website The Elec.

The report from The Elec claims LG will supply the Mini-LED panels for the iPad Pro. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previously detailed the benefits of Mini-LED technology which will allow for thinner and lighter products, high contrast, and high dynamic range.

The rumored iPad Pro is expected to launch late this year with a new display, A14X chip, and 5G. Apple recently refreshed the iPad Pro back in March with a new A12Z Bionic chip which is simply an A12X with an extra GPU core enabled, a LiDAR scanner, Ultra-Wide camera, and a new and improved microphone array.
