Today is Spider-Man Day and that means it gives everyone a perfect opportunity to go back and watch all of the classic “Spider-Man” movies that have been released over the last 20 years.
It means even more this year since the U.S. is currently in a nationwide pandemic due to the coronavirus, giving people even more chances to stream and watch these movies.
The reason today is Spider-Man Day is because the first comic he appeared in was released in August 1962.
Here is how you can stream all of the “Spider-Man” movies:
- “Spider-Man”: The first film starring Tobey Maguire is one that many fans would call the best, but it was also the start that kicked off an entire movie franchise for Sony Pictures and one for the beloved web-slinging hero. It can be streamed on Starz.
- “Spider-Man 2”: The sequel to Maguire’s first film is currently available to stream on Starz.
- “Spider-Man 3”: Maguire’s last film in the role of Peter Parker and Spider-Man is available to stream on Hulu.
- “The Amazing Spider-Man”: This film stars Andrew Garfield as the iconic Spider-Man. He also played Eduardo Saverin in the famous movie “The Social Network” too. “The Amazing Spider-Man” can be streamed on FX NOW, which will require you to sign in with your TV provider credentials.
- “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”: Garfield’s sequel is also available to stream on FX NOW too.
- “Spider-Man: Homecoming”: Tom Holland plays Spider-Man in this film and is currently the youngest actor to play the character. It is available to stream on FX NOW.
- “Spider-Man: Far From Home”: This film was released last summer and is Holland’s second movie playing Peter Parker and Spider-Man. It can currently be streamed on Starz.
- “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”: It is all animated and stars the first African American to play the heroic character. It can be streamed on Netflix.Â
Those are the last of the movies, but as an added bonus to truly celebrate the historic hero, here are just some of the TV series one can watch about him as well:
- “Spider-Man” (1994 TV series): The first and only season of the series can be streamed on Disney+.
- “Marvel’s Spider-Man”: Two seasons of this series can be streamed on Disney+.
- “Ultimate Spider-Man”: The animated kids TV show starring Drake Bell as the lead voice actor for Peter Parker as Spider-Man can be streamed in its entirety on Disney+.
