Apple TV+ is a streaming service by Apple that has been out for several months now and has plenty of original content such as “The Morning Show,” “Dickinson” and the animated comedy TV series “Central Park.”
We reported earlier this year that a reader had sent us a video of how those with Windows 10 on their computer can get an Apple TV app on their Windows 10 device.
Now we have found the same thing for Windows 7 users. However, please note that your Windows 7 computer must have the Microsoft Edge browser on it.
Here is how you can get the Apple TV+ app on your Windows 7 computer:
- Go to the Apple TV+ page on Apple’s website and then click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Scroll down to “Apps” and then click “Install this site as an app.”
- Name the app “Apple TV+”
- Once it has been downloaded and installed from there, go to the Start button in the bottom-left corner and type in “Apple TV+,” where the app should appear.
- Just like that, you have an Apple TV+ app on your Windows 7 computer. Sign in to your Apple account and start watching some content.
Apple TV+ costs $4.99 a month after a week-long free trial. It can also be streamed on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, select Smart TVs, Roku devices and the Amazon Fire TV.
Do you have a Windows 7 computer you’re going to put this Apple TV+ app on? Let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy. Also, a special shout to Appleosophy writer Pururaj Dutta for discovering this.
