People that use an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K have noticed over the years that its Siri Remote is not always the easiest to use.
Granted, it does have a unique design to it and Apple has integrated features into iOS and iPadOS to make the tvOS experience on the Apple TV better without having to go to the Siri Remote for basic navigation.
This has been seen by Apple allowing for users to type in what they are looking for on their Apple TV from their iPhone or iPad, when prompted, and giving users access to an app version of the Siri Remote from their iOS or iPadOS devices.
However, there is a new remote on the market that looks to make life on the Apple TV a lot simpler.
The remote is called the “Button Remote” and is made by the company Function 101. On it, one will find physical buttons for features such as play/pause, volume up and down, fast forward and rewind, mute and others.
The only downside to the remote is there is no home button on it.
To combat this, you will have to use the Menu button to serve as it. By tapping it, it will act as a back button. If you hold the Menu button, it will take you back to the main screen of your Apple TV.
Not only does it create an easier way for users to navigate tvOS on their Apple TV, but it is half the price of the Siri Remote at just $29.99.
This is by no means an ad from Function 101, but more so a “just so you know this exists” for all of those of you who are fed up with the Siri Remote.
If you do purchase the Button Remote from the Function website, you can purchase the remote and its other products with Apple Pay. Additionally, Apple Card users will get 2% back in Daily Cash on each of their purchases through the website.
