After much anticipation, Apple has finally announced its September Event for this year. This event will be held from the Apple Park on September 15th, at 10 a.m. PDT.
We can expect a wide variety of products and services announced in this event including:
- iPhone 12 Series: Rumored to have 4 different variants – iPhone 12 (5.4-inch), iPhone 12 Max (6.1-inch), iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch), and iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch). A new color – Midnight Blue / Navy Blue will be replacing the current Midnight Green Variant of the iPhone 11 Pro Series. The blue color theme of the Apple Logo in the events page signifies that there will be a Navy Blue color.
- iPad Air (4th Generation): Rumored to have a bezel-less display, just like the iPad Pro, but with Touch ID integrated into the power button
- Apple Watch Series 6: This year’s Apple Watch might get Sleep Tracking and Blood Oxygen Monitoring. It may feature Touch ID and may even support the Qi Standard of Wireless Charging, which means that you can use any Qi-enabled Wireless Charger to charge the watch.
- AirTags: It is a location tracking accessory which you can tag along with your things to never lose them. AirTags has been leaked several times, even by Apple themselves in one of their Apple Support Videos first discovered by Appleosophy Team Member Pururaj Dutta. Read more about the leak here. AirTags may also support Qi-standards of Wireless Charging, similar looking to the Apple Watch Charger which will also support AirPower. A concept of the AirTags connection process has been designed by our in-house designer, Anton Bulzomi, have a look:

- AirPower: The long awaited product, AirPower can be launched in this event. This product was cancelled earlier due to its heating issues and it did not meet Apple Standards. This time, since Apple may implement the same kind of chargers for both the Apple Watch and AirTags, supporting Qi-Standards, AirPower may altogether eliminate other types of Wireless Charging Coils, and keep only one standard within AirPower, which is the Qi-Standard. This will resolve most of the heating issues, but unfortunately if this happens, only the Apple Watch Series 6 will support AirPower.
- Apple One: Apple may announce its rumored all-in-one Apple Services Bundle in this event. Apple One will bundle Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News+ and Apple Arcade. UK Carrier EE has also launched an all in one iPhone plan which bundles Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple News+ into one plan. Read more about it here.
- iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14 macOS 11 Big Sur & watchOS 7: Apple may announce the final release dates of these softwares in the event and Beta testers may get the Gold-Master version right after the event.
