4K support in YouTube tvOS app is coming

4K support for the YouTube Apple TV app has been a feature users have been begging for since yesteryear.

The good news is that it could be on the way soon.

YouTube’s @TeamYouTube Twitter account confirmed this afternoon that 4K support is coming to its tvOS app.

It has not been confirmed specifically when an update will become available, but we can hope that this is the support that YouTube will want to get out as soon as possible.

The only way to get 4K support on an Apple TV is to have the Apple TV 4K, which currently costs $179 through Apple.
