Apple has released the eighth beta of macOS Big Sur to developers after a week since the release of the seventh beta.
The build number for macOS Big Sur beta 8 is 20A5374i. Straight from Apple’s release notes a kernel issue has been resolved where the kernel would cause an application to quit unexpectedly.
macOS Big Sur Beta 8 and future updates can be downloaded through Software Update once the developer profile is installed. If you decide to update to the Developer or Public beta, remember to have a back-up of your data and be careful. Installing one of these betas on your main devices can cause unexpected issues, resulting in data loss and potential software and hardware issues.
