Today Apple has released watchOS 7.0.2 to Apple Watch users. This is the second watchOS 7 update, since the public release in September. This update includes an excessive battery drain issue fix as well as bugs relating to the ECG application.
The official release notes from Apple for watchOS 7.0.2 are below:
watchOS 7.0.2 contains improvements and bug fixes, including:
”“ Addresses an issue that could cause the battery to drain more quickly
”“ Resolves an issue that prevented some users from accessing the ECG app in regions where it is available
Here is how you can update your compatible Apple Watch to watchOS 7.0.2:
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- Either Download or Install (Note, your Apple Watch must be 50% or more or on a charger to update, and within range of your iPhone)
