Review: Social Stats & MusicView

iOS 14 was recently released to the public, with a well-awaited feature being Widgets. Many applications now support widgets in various forms and sizes, from photos to weather there is a widget for everything.

There was always something missing, if you wanted to check your social statistics at a glance you couldn’t or find out what is currently playing on Spotify or Apple Music. Now it is easier than ever thanks to @iCloneOS who has developed two applications Social Stats and MusicView.

iCloneOS’ MusicView and Social Stats

Social Stats

Social Stats is a simple yet powerful and crucial application for social media users. From a quick glance at your home screen, you are able to see crucial follower information from various popular social platforms. Whether you have a personal, business, or influencer account, you can keep track of your following without the hassle of opening the social application and fiddling around just to find how many followers you have.

The UI is simple yet elegant with social icons, big and bold numerics, and a plain black background.

MusicView is a simple Spotify and Apple Music client and widget application. Easily see what song is playing, what is trending in your country and play it without having to open Spotify or Apple Music, it’s that easy. MusicView is tailored to you, with various colors to customize your widgets. MusicView also features top chart songs in your country and music controls. Due to an iOS limitation, widgets refresh every 5 minutes, though the developer has designed a Siri Shortcut to reload the widget when you want, all you need to do is head to Shortcuts > Automation > Create > App > Open or Close > MusicView Reload > Ask Before Running off and you’re done. To refresh simply open Apple Music or Spotify.

@iCloneOS has done an exceptional job of creating these essential widgets. I recommend you check out and download MusicView which is available for $0.99 USD and Social Stats which is free with a $0.99 in-app purchase to unlock all social platforms.
