Today, WildBrain revealed that, alongside “The Snoopy Show” in 2021, Apple TV+ will be the home of some new exclusive “Peanuts” specials, including Mother’s day, Earth Day, New Year’s Eve and going back to school themes. In addition, Apple TV+ will also receive a 70th-anniversary documentary film in 2021, and a second season of the Emmy-nominated series “Snoopy in Space”. Apple TV+ is also getting classic Peanuts specials like “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (premiering for subscribers on December 4th and free from December 11th to 13th) and “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” (premiering for subscribers on November 18th and free from November 25th to the 27th).
Apple first struck up a deal with WildBrain in 2018, where they agreed to be the exclusive home of any new “Peanuts” content.
Apple is slowly expanding its Apple TV+ lineup, with new exclusive shows and movies, as well as including a free year of Apple TV+ for any new purchase of an Apple device to try to convince users to stay subscribed to the service. You can watch Apple TV+ on the Apple TV app on iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple TVs and more, including select third-party TVs.
