The Big Ten Conference is starting its football season on Friday, October 23, and with that, Sling TV has brought back Big Ten Network (BTN).
Sling TV previously had the channel, but because of the carriage issue with FOX, which owns the network.
The channel will be added to Sling TV on Thursday, October 22. However, it will only be available on Sling TV’s Blue plan with its Sports Extra. Sling Blue costs $30 a month and the Sports Extra costs an additional $10 a month, which would make the total cost of it to $40 a month.
BTN’s first game will be Illinois vs. #14 Wisconsin, which will air at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, October 23.
Other games it will be covering this Saturday are Rutgers vs. Michigan State at noon ET, Iowa vs. Purdue at 3:30 p.m. ET and Maryland vs. Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Sling TV is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
