We are now fully in the month of December and that means Christmas and holiday specials, as well as other TV premieres this month.

TV:

  • “Dash & Lily”: This is a short eight-episode TV series based on the book by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. It is perfect for this time of the year. All eight episodes can be streamed on Netflix.

  • “The Middle”: As of this week, all nine seasons of the series can be streamed on HBO Max.

  • “My Hero Academia” season four: The fourth season of this popular anime TV series is now available to stream on Hulu. There are 25 episodes.

Movies:

  • Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas movies: Click here to find out how to stream the new Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas movies that will premiere this weekend, as well as how to stream the previously aired movies.

  • The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special”: If you or your kid(s) like LEGO or “Star Wars,” this might be the holiday special to watch this week. It is available to stream on Disney+.

  • “El Camino Christmas”: This Christmas-themed movie starring Luke Grimes, Michelle Myet, Tim Allen and Dax Shepard is available to stream on Netflix. However, this is not particularly a kids movie like Allen’s “Santa Claus” movies were, so keep that in mind.

  • “Elf”: It’s an iconic Christmas movie that is watched by Americans every year. This Will Farrell can be streamed on Starz.

Sports:

  • Texas vs. Kansas State (College Football): Neither of the teams are ranked for this game, but it could be interesting to see which team. Texas is looking to get a better bowl game and Kansas State needs at least two more wins to become bowl eligible. It will be played at noon ET on Saturday, December 5, on FOX.

  • West Virginia vs. #9 Iowa State (College Football): With at least one more win for Iowa State, the team will punch its ticket to the Big 12 Championship. The last time the team won its conference title was back in 1912. The game will be played at 3:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, December 5, on ESPN.

  • Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals (NFL): It’s a dog fight for second place in the NFC West this year and this game will play a major factor in what the final outcome will be. It will air at 4 p.m. ET, Sunday, December 6, on FOX.
