After the recent beta releases of iOS 14.3 and macOS 11.1, users found a new feature for Apple Music. Albums such as Detroit 2 by Big Sean and 12 Questions by Future Utopia feature Animated Album Covers.
This feature was first spotted by Reddit users, and we can see a small glimpse of the feature thanks to Tim Hardwick (@waxeditorial) on Twitter.

Previously, a similar feature was implemented in versions of iOS 14. Animated Playlist covers were a pretty neat addition to Apple Music, adding some life to the service.
As we know, Apple has a tight relationship with music experiences. That same desire to develop the iPod back in the day has trascended to the creation of Apple Music and the AirPods line of products.
It will be interesting to see what other features are implemented into Apple Music. Users have asked for a better streaming quality and an improved algorithm for recommendations. Having these features would make the AirPods Max and HomePod way better audio products overnight.
Even though this is a small feature, this shows a commitment by the Music team to develop new and exciting features for the platform, that currently sits as Spotify’s biggest competitor.
Only the future can tell if there will be any significant improvements to Apple Music, but we will keep you posted here at Appleosophy.
