CARROT Weather 5.0 was released this week, which brought an entirely new redesign and look to the app.
One of the issues users have had early on is when they download the new 5.0 update, the Apple Watch app does not get updated, leaving the old look of the app on their Apple Watch.
I personally came across this issue on my Apple Watch. Thankfully, the developer of CARROT Weather was able to tell me just how to fix the problem.
What you’ll want to do on your Apple Watch is open up the App Store app. From there, you’ll want to scroll all the way to the bottom of that screen and tap the “Account” button. After that, scroll to the bottom to where it says “Updates.”
If the app is truly on your Apple Watch, you should be able to update the app from there.
Once the app has updated itself, it will either reflect that in the app and your watch face (if you have it as a complication on your Apple Watch) or you will have to restart your Apple Watch, where the new app and complication should appear on your watch face and be updated on your Apple Watch.
It is a little inconvenience, but at least there is a somewhat easy fix to it.

CARROT Weather 5.0 is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Apple Watch. There is also a Mac version of CARROT Weather too but has not been updated to the look of 5.0.
