The Cryptocurrency exchange company in the U.S., CoinZoon, has announced that it now has support for Apple Pay on its debit cards.
By adding Apple Pay support, it now enables users of the service to have a contactless option on paying for items. When it comes to in-store purchases, it will allow them to use their cards on their iPhone and Apple Watch.
Online purchases with the card can be made on the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
According to CryptoMode, “The CoinZoom Visa card is one of the first products of its kind in the United States designed to allow CoinZoom users to instantly convert Bitcoin and over 25 of the most popular cryptocurrencies to USD at the point of sale and spend their balances.”
CoinZoom CEO Todd Crosland said adding support for Apple Pay and other contactless payment methods is a step in the right direction for the company.
“Since our launch in 2020, CoinZoom users have used their CoinZoom Visa cards to convert and spend millions of dollars of their cryptocurrency balances to pay for everyday items like rent, utilities, gas, groceries, travel and a myriad of other products and services,” he said. “At CoinZoom, we continue to look for innovative ways to propel the mass-adoption of cryptocurrencies forward.Adding Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay will make it even easier and more convenient for users to spend their cryptocurrency balances.”
One of the many features of CryptoZoom is the fact that users can get up to 5% back on purchases by using cryptocurrency.
