We reported earlier this month that Disney had plans to start a program called MagicMobile at Disney World Resort that would let users access their passes right on the iPhone and Apple Watch through the Apple Wallet app.

All of this is accessible through the My Disney Experience app. Essentially, all of the uses the Magic Bands had at its theme parks will now be the same on MagicMobile and customers accessing their passes from their iPhone or Apple Watch.

Other features of the MagicMobile passes will include the customization of it, which will have animations on them too. Multiple passes can be put on one device as well.

When a customer reaches an “access point,” they can put their iPhone or Apple Watch over it and enter.

Disney will still allow customers to use MagicBands and physical cards too for those who are not as technologically advanced.

At this time, the contactless features of the app are only available on the iPhone and Apple Watch, but are said to be expanding to other devices in the future.
