The developers of Spark have truly made email great again, especially with its newest update for their Mac app.

Spark’s macOS email app has been an alternative app for years for those who want something different from the default Apple Mail app, as well as the interfaces for email services like Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and Yahoo.

Today, the app has gained M1 Mac support. The M1 Macs were first released late last year, and now Spark natively supports them.

Additionally, the app got shared inbox support too.

This update comes from Verison 2.10. Here are the official notes of the app update:

“Today we’re bringing you a fantastic update with a long-wished-for feature ”“ Shared Inboxes!

Now Spark lets you handle an inbox together with multiple people, assign emails just like tasks, set deadlines, and track progress. No email will slip through the cracks! This feature is invaluable for small teams like info@, sales@, or support@.

What you can do with Shared Inboxes:

– Grant access to other people, without sharing passwords

– Assign emails to others or yourself, just like tasks

– Set deadlines and track progress

– Discuss emails with others in a private chat

– Write emails together in real-time

– Organize your inbox with labels

In addition to the brand-new Shared Inboxes, we’re bringing you one more piece of news ”“ Spark 2.10 comes to M1 Mac! Enjoy!”

Spark is a free email app in the Mac App Store and is also available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and even the Apple Watch.
