A UK-based bank, Ikigai, is making it easier and safer for its users to make purchases in stores and online.

The challenger bank has recently announced that it is bringing Apple Pay support to its Visa debit cardholders.

Those who have an iPhone or Apple Watch can now add their Ikigai Visa debit cards to the Wallet app and use Apple Pay as a payment method in stores, and online through other devices like the iPad and Mac.

Ikigai added this as well on an announcement page on its website about adding Apple Pay support:

Enjoy all the benefits of your Ikigai card with Apple Pay on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac.* Using Apple Pay is simple, and it works with the devices you use every day. Your card information is secure because it isn’t stored on your device or shared when you pay. Paying in stores, apps, and on the web has never been easier, safer, or more private.”

This also means that users of its debit cards will access to Apple Cash as well for making to payments through iMessage to friends, family and colleagues.
