While we might not be expecting new Mac announcements at next week’s Apple Event, Mark Gurman reported an upcoming, small update to the iMac that might make potential iMac customers satisfied.
The colorful M1 24-inch iMac initially launched in May, but you can only get the machine in silver, green, blue, or pink at a retail store if you don’t want to wait for shipping. If you want to get one in orange, yellow, or purple, you would have to purchase online.
According to Mark Gurman, he speculated that Apple will offer all of the colors for the iMac at retails stores as well as authorized resellers, dropping this exclusitivity. This will surely make the purchasing process at retail easier when customers talked to a specialist in person and want to buy a specific color right away.
For other Mac announcements, including the upcoming MacBook Pro, we expect those to come out as soon as next month or November alongside the new iPads if Apple doesn’t announce those.
