The streaming and cord-cutting industries are constantly changing and more change could soon be coming to YouTube TV.

The change that could be coming this week to YouTube TV is the loss of its NBC Universal channels. These channels include Bravo, CNBC, Entertainment Network (also known as “E!”), MSNBC, NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), regional NBC Sports stations, Golf Channel, SyFy, Oxygen, Universal Kids, USA Network, Telemundo and Universo.

NBC and YouTube TV’s current deal is expected to expire on Thursday, September 30.

It is because of these potential changes that if YouTube TV does lose these NBCU channels, it will drop the monthly price of its live TV streaming service to $54.99 a month, which is a $10 decrease in price.

YouTube TV also stated that those who would still want to stream the NFL Sunday Night Football games live can get Peacock Premium starting at $4.99 a month. Peacock can be subscribed to via in-app purchases through the App Store. This includes the Notre Dame football games that are being broadcast on NBC too.

During tonight’s NFL Sunday Night Football game, NBC ran a scrolling banner across the screen, stating these potential changes during the game.

Another part of this that is interesting is that there are plans to eliminate and shut down NBCSN by the end of 2021.

In the meantime, NBCU has been telling its viewers to go to YouNeedChannels.com that tell them some facts about the current dispute.

The current live TV streaming services that have all of the 14+ NBCU channels on them are Hulu with Live TV and fuboTV.

YouTube TV and all other streaming services listed in this article are available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
