With the MLB Playoffs and Halloween happen this month, Sling TV is giving its customers a bit of a treat.

Between now and Friday, October 15, users of the live TV streaming service are getting a free live preview of MLB Network.

This is important since that network will be home to a couple of the ALDS games that will be Game 2 of the Houston Astros vs. Chicago White Sox that airs today at 2:07 p.m. ET, and Game 3 of the Boston Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays at 3:07 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 10.

Once the free preview is over, the best way to keep up with the MLB Playoffs through Sling TV will be through its Blue plan that cost $35 a month and includes FOX (in select TV markets), FS1 and TBS.

MLB Network is regularly available for an additional $11 a month with Sling TV’s Sports Extra, which could come in handy for football fans too since it has NFL RedZone, BIG 10 Network and FS2.

Sling TV can be streamed on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
