2021 is still the first year of Paramount+, which was rebranded this year as that name back in March 2021. It was previously CBS All Access.
Right now, T-Mobile is offering its customers, both T-Mobile and Sprint, the opportunity to get a free year of the rebranded streaming service.
The plan that customers would get would be the $4.99 a month Essential plan that is ad-supported with “limited commercial interruptions.” Customers will not be able to use the offer on the ad-free Paramount+ subscription for $9.99 a month.
This promotion is set to begin on Tuesday, November 9. Since it does launch on this date, it does make it launch the day before the 2021 movie “Clifford the Big Red Dog” is released on Paramount+.
Here is who is eligible to get free Paramount+ for a year:
“Active T-Mobile and Sprint postpaid wireless and Home Internet customers, including T-Mobile for Business customers, on eligible plans qualify for a year of Paramount+ ON US.”
Here are those who will not qualify for the offer:
“Prepaid, Mobile Internet only (tablets, laptops, hotspots, watches, etc.), businesses with more than 12 voice lines, Government, Puerto Rico, and Metro by T-Mobile customers. This offer and Paramount+ service is for the personal, non-commercial use only.”
Additionally, T-Mobile does offer other free subscriptions to other streaming services such as Apple TV+ and Netflix. To learn more about this offer, please visit the T-Mobile website.
Paramount+ is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. It is also available to stream on the Apple TV third generation through Apple TV Channels for $9.99 a month and is an ad-free version of Paramount+, but that does not apply to this T-Mobile promotion. Paramount+ does sync with the Apple TV app as well.
