To help get more people to donate to Wikipedia, the website is now offering Apple Pay support for users to make donations through.
Apple Pay support was added to the website on Tuesday, November 16, according to The Paypers.
This is typically found when searching for subjects on the website, where users are shown a banner, asking them, “don’t scroll away.”
When the user clicks on the Apple Pay icon, users are then asked how much they would like to donate and whether or not they would like to make it a monthly donation.
Once all of that is decided, users are taken to a page where they can click on the “Donate with Apple Pay” button where they can make their donation to Wikipedia.
Apple Card users that donate will be able to get 2% in Daily Cash on their donation.
Please let it be known that at this time, the Apple Pay button will only be there if the person is using an Apple device and using the Safari browser, whether that is on an iPhone, iPad or Mac.
