BPI customers in Portugal now have a new way to pay for their items in-person and online.

BPI now has support for Apple Pay for its customers. This means that private customers of BPI can add their BPI debit card to the Apple Wallet app on their iPhone and Apple Watch to make purchases in retail stores or online.

They can be added to devices like the iPad and Mac for online purchases too.

Here are the following financial institutions in Portugal that currently have support for Apple Pay: Active Bank, Montepio Bank, Bank of America, Bunq, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Cetelem, Agricultural Credit, Curve, FNAC (CaixaBank Payments&Consumer), iCard, Lydia, Millennium BCP, moey!, Monese, N26, Openbank, Payhawk, Paysera, Revolution, Santander, SumUp, Unibanco, Universe, Wise and ZEN.COM.
