Today, there was a change with the Spark Mail by Readdle app but with a less technical reason behind it.

In Version 2.11.13, the app icon was changed slightly with golden folds and ripples in the bottom right corner of the icon to show the app and developers’ support for Ukraine, which is currently in intense warfare with Russia.

In the app update, the developers say that the update and showing support for Ukraine is a decision that comes close to home since it was founded there.

“Spark was founded in Ukraine. Show your support and stand with us.”

Additionally, the update says the Spark Mail app will no longer be accepting customers from Russia and encouraged the #StandForUkraine hashtag.

Spark is currently a free app in the App Store and available to use on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
