Ever since Jon Prosser leaked the iPhone 14 design the day before iPhone 13s release, Apple fans have been eager to know what leakers have in store for us next. Now it seems to be some CAD files that Twitter user @VNchocoTaco has shared online.
As recently reported back in March, several CAD renders have shown the pill-shaped as legitimate, and it seems most Apple fans agree that the iPhone 14 will feature a pill-shaped hole-punch instead of the notch featured on last-years iPhones.
The leaked CAD files feature the controversial pill-shaped notch design, together with a separate punch-hole for the selfie camera. It also features the recently rumored camera bump which is supposed to be bigger than last year’s iPhone 13 Pro Max, with a big jump from 12MP to 48MP. This means that you can expect better image quality, but you shouldn’t expect too much as it’s still a phone camera.
Notably, the CAD files don’t seem to have the long-standing mute switch on the side, and this might be a sign that Apple is moving towards a more seamless iPhone with fewer ports and supposedly MagSafe-only charging, but we’ll have to wait and see with that.
Here are the images of the cad file and full measurements of iPhone 14 Pro Max that I obtained. I will share more details about it in the coming newsletter. ? pic.twitter.com/CTLLVOtgb7
