The streaming setup has changed a lot in the past year, which has included select games going to Apple TV+ on its Friday Night Baseball program, as well as other select games on Peacock.
It appears as though YouTube TV has added 4K streams of MLB Network for select games the network will broadcast. However, in order for customers to get the games in 4K, they will have to sign up for the 4K Plus add-on which will cost an additional $19.99 a month.
The first game will be broadcast tonight and be between the Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox at 7 p.m. ET on MLB Network.

On top of needing the 4K Plus add-on with your YouTube TV subscription, you’ll also need an Apple TV 4K in order to get the 4K video quality on your home’s big screen.
YouTube TV costs $64.99 a month and is available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
