The 2022 NFL preseason is here and there are some major changes for the new season.

For starters, the best way to stream NFL preseason games this year will be though live TV streaming services like YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, fuboTV, DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, and Vidgo.

The league’s new preseason will have its first game at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 4, on NBC between the Jaguars and Raiders. You can view the whole schedule of live games too here.

NFL Network will be the channel where it will be airing 22 live games this year. The network will also be re-airing games on the channel throughout the preseason too, so in case fans miss a game or two, the network will re-air them.

Another big change this year comes with the recent release of NFL+. The service starts at just $4.99 a month and will enable fans to stream preseason games that are out of their TV market and national broadcasts such as games on NBC, CBS, and FOX. It can be subscribed to as an in-app purchase in the App Store too.

However, please note that games available to stream through NFL+ are only available to stream on an iPhone and not a device like an Apple TV.

Games that are broadcast on NBC will be able to be streamed on Peacock. For preseason broadcast on CBS, they can be streamed live on Paramount+. National FOX preseason games will be available to stream live on NFL+. The preseason game on Thursday, August 25 between the 49ers and Texans will be streaming live on Prime Video.
