This is the biggest of all months to be streaming. It is the holidays, after all, as well as the fact that it is getting colder all across the country, the snow is falling, and the snow days are happening. Lastly, it is the final month of 2022. Let’s go out with a bang!
TV:
- “The Santa Clauses”: New episodes of this Disney+ Original will show up here every Wednesday on Disney+.
- “Emily in Paris” (Season 3): For fans of this series, they are very much looking forward to this and the third season will premiere on Wednesday, December 21, on Netflix. It’s also the first day of winter that day, so just another reason to stay inside and watch this.
- “Everybody Loves Raymond”: Starting on Wednesday, December 14, the whole series will be made available to stream on Paramount+.
- “1923”: The second prequel to Paramount Network’s very popular TV series “Yellowstone,” will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on Friday, December 18.
- “Jack Ryan” (Season 3): The third season of the popular Tom Clancy-based TV series premieres on Wednesday, December 21, on Prime Video.
Movies:
- “Top Gun: Maverick”: It was one of the most popular films of the year and it will premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, December 22.
- “The Walton’s Homecoming”: It is the holiday season and if you love the original classic TV series “The Waltons” (which can be streamed on Amazon Freevee), this should make you a happy person. It is currently available to stream on Peacock.
- “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”: The holiday scenes in this movie alone makes this a great movie to watch. It is currently on Hulu and Paramount+.
- “Terminator Genisys”: On top of Arnold Schwarzenegger being in this film, fun fact, Matt Smith, who is best known as playing the 11th Doctor in “Doctor Who,” is in this film too, and it is currently on Hulu.
- “La La Land”: Here’s a popular movie some of you may like this month and it will appear on Prime Video on Thursday, December 8.
Holiday movies/specials: It’s that time of year and here are some of our favorite holiday specials and movies that we think you should be watching this year. We will be providing 10 of them.
- “A Charlie Brown Christmas”: It’s an American classic and can be streamed on Apple TV+ exclusively. You can click here to find out when the free days to watch the special will be.
- “Eight Crazy Nights”: Adam Sandler’s masterpiece of a Hanukkah movie can be watched on Showtime and those with the Paramount+ with Showtime bundle.
- “The Polar Express”: Next to the Hogwarts Express, it’s probably the most popular train to be watching this time of year. This film can be streamed on HBO Max.
- “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (1966 animated and live-action): The animated version can be streamed on Peacock and the Jim Carrey live-action film is on HBO Max.
- “Love Actually”: It’s one of the top romantic movies to watch during the holiday season and is currently on Peacock, Showtime, and Paramount+ with the Showtime bundle.
- “Christmas with the Kranks”: Tim Allen truly is the Christmas guy in America and this movie can be streamed on AMC+ and with ads on Amazon Freevee.
- “It’s a Wonderful Life”: It’s been around since the late 1940s and is still a necessary watch for many people. It is currently on Prime Video now.
- “Deck the Halls”: Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick in a movie together? What could possibly go wrong? The streaming service it is on is Starz.
- “All Good Things”: This one is not as well known as others, but if you like those Hallmark type of movies, then this is a good one to watch and is quite family friendly. You can stream it on Peacock and with ads on Tubi and Amazon Freevee.
- “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”: Americans have enjoyed this movie for over three decades and they will enjoy it once more, as it is on HBO Max.
Sports:

- New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings (NFL): Each team will be trying to get the best seed in the playoffs and both teams mentioned here are eligible for the playoffs thus far. This game will be played at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 24, with regional coverage on FOX and NFL+.
- 2022 NASCAR Awards: Tired of all of the football happening this month? The 2022 NASCAR Awards show will be available to stream live on Peacock at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 3.
