Today marks the launch of the rebranded MGM+ streaming service that was previously EPIX.
The rebrand of EPIX to MGM+ was announced last fall and today is the first day of said relaunch of the streaming service, similar to CBS All Access transitioning to Paramount+ in March 2021.
We are now already seeing on Apple TV Channels in the Apple TV app that EPIX is being labeled as MGM+.
MGM+ currently costs $5.99 a month and has popular movies on it such as the “James Bond” films, “Top Gun Maverick,” “Rocky,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
The streaming service does have TV shows on it too like “Godfather of Harlem,” “Billy the Kid,” and DC’s “Pennyworth.”
Users that subscribe to MGM+ will get access to a live MGM+ channel too which will show movies and TV shows on it as well.
Those who do not want to subscribe to MGM+ through Apple TV Channels do have the option of subscribing through the MGM+ app in the App Store via in-app purchases.
